A year takes about 35 minutes and there is no save. Run it as a team session and compare which quarter the notice landed in.

The facilitator pack
The game is free and stays free. The paid product is the session you run with your own people, and the rule that makes it work is that nobody plays their own job. Put the compliance officer on the front desk and the owner in the classroom.
Solo in the room. Two and a half hours. One device each. Compare which quarter the notice landed in, how many of the four risks each person found, and who finished with a clean complaints register.
The Table Edition. Three and a half hours. Four to six players, one RTO, one twenty-sided die, no software. Six roles with six different views of the same year, and three discretionary days each.
- Facilitator guide, two session plans, and how to plan the role deal before the day
- The complete Table Edition script: the risk key, every role’s actions, the quarterly event table, the four assessment postures and the outcome bands
- Debrief crib card, seven steps, forty minutes
- A worked example of a competent year that did not hold up
- Participant workbook, role cards, year record sheet, player guide, slides and certificate
Scored against the four Quality Areas of the Standards for RTOs 2025. One named facilitator, unlimited sessions inside your own organisation. Delivering it to other RTOs for a fee needs a commercial delivery licence, quoted on enquiry. This is a simulation, not audit preparation, and it is not advice on a live matter.
