Three comedy card games for workplace teams. The jokes land on systems, mixed messages and paperwork, never on people. 3 to 8 players, 20 to 40 minutes, and everyone plays on their own phone. No group? Play solo against simulated colleagues who judge your answers.
So You’re the Safety Advisor
You have been hired to keep people safe in a workplace where the printer has a more reliable escalation pathway than you do. The Chair turns up a Situation. You answer with a Move. Then a Curveball lands.
Win the round with the funniest Move a real safety advisor could actually start with. Earn the bonus point for the one that would actually keep people safe.
Lessons Learned (Again)
The investigation is finished. The findings look familiar. The Lead Investigator reads a Finding, you offer a Corrective Action, and then the Scrutiny card asks the awkward question.
Win the round with the funniest fix someone could defend with a straight face. Earn the bonus point for fixing the system, not the person.
Between the Toolbox and HR
You do the work. Everyone else has a process for it. The Chair reads a Moment from the worker’s side of the fence, you answer with a Reply, and then an Office Plot Twist makes it harder.
Win the round with the funniest plausible Reply that still deals with the issue. Earn the bonus point for the clearest and most useful one.
How to play
- Everyone opens the app on their phone and picks the same game.
- Pick any number as your table code. Everyone types the same code and the same number of players.
- Sit in a circle. Seat 1 goes first as the Chair. Everyone else takes the next seat number, clockwise.
- The Chair reads out the first card. Everyone else plays one card from their hand and puts their phone face down.
- The Chair reads out the twist, collects the phones, reads every answer aloud and picks a winner.
- Everyone taps Next round. Hands refill and the next seat becomes the Chair.
Running it with a group
Put this code on a screen or a printed sheet and have everyone scan it. Add the app to your home screen and it works with no signal after the first load, which helps on site. For a facilitated session, set one device to shared display and put it on the projector.
These games are entertainment, not operating instructions. At real work, follow your site procedures and stop unsafe work.
